How we design a website
Five steps, in the same order every time. Nothing is built until you have seen the design and said yes.

We sit down and listen
Alan meets you, usually in person, and records a conversation about your business, your customers and the way you work.

We get the message right
From that conversation we write down who your customer is, what they need from you, and why they should pick you.

We plan the pages in your words
We agree the pages the site needs with you, then write them from what you told us, so the site sounds like you and not like a template.

We design it as one system
Your colours, type, buttons and page layouts are drawn at phone and desktop size, together, on a private web address you can open anywhere.

You approve it, then we build
We walk you through the design. Only when you say yes do we build the site in WordPress, with every page made from the design you approved.
The picture and the house
A design system is the picture of your website: the colours, the type, every button and section, and the home page, drawn out and agreed. The website is the house we build from it.
Keeping the two apart means you see exactly how your site will look on your phone and on a desktop before any building starts, and it means the finished site stays tidy as it grows.
